So one of my assignments for school this past week was to think of something that I want to write a paper on... For some reason this reminded me of my blog that I had honestly forgotten about for a while, so I figured why not just write about something on my blog rather than actually having to write a paper. So, here it goes:
In case you haven't noticed I am, obviously, greatly impacted by music. You could say I'm extremely obsessed with it, but I'm afraid that would be a huge understatement! Since music is so important to my life I decided to do the greatest thing a music lover could do! No I didn't try recording my own songs, even though that would be awesome, but I did do the most cliche thing ever and it turned out amazing... I made a playlist for my life. YES!!! EPIC WIN!!! I went through all my 4000 something songs, and picked out a mere 200 songs that most describe my life. I was so ecstatic when I had finally created my "Introducing Emily" playlist, but soon after realized no one will actually want to take the time to listen to 200 songs that I think represent me. So, I sulked for a few minutes not wanting to change this AMAZING expression of myself, but then somehow I managed to narrow this playlist down to only 60 songs that were the most relevant and best songs to use to describe my life. I oh so creatively named this playlist "Introducing Emily," not only because it's a ton of songs that, I think, represent me, but because the first two songs I put on the list were: "Introducing Me" by Nick Jonas and "Emily" by From First to Last. In case anyone was wondering the playlist was pretty much amazing, and I am going to burn it to cds and listen to them in the car. So prepare yourselves, if you are ever in my car you will be forced to listen to the many cds of music about yours truly!
So that is the story of my awesomeness; it's also my schoolwork... Two birds with one stone! New blog entry... and I have fulfilled my writing assignment! YAY ME!!!!
